Dr Kotze gained his Medical Degree in South Africa (MBChB) in 1999 and Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2007. He has been an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist since 2010.
Career & Education
He has clinical experience of working with people who have anxiety disorders, depression and a history of trauma. He has worked in community teams and inpatient units in Dorset and Wiltshire.
Academically, he completed a Postgraduate diploma in psychosexual therapy and relationship therapy with the University of Hull. He has worked with Relate seeing couples with sexual and relationship difficulties.
He has an interest in medical education and has a certificate in teaching and learning from Bristol University.
